New Philosophy

Should I be doing this? 
I don't know? 
Should I keep going? 
Or just let it be? 
This definite attraction 
Is overwhelming me 
All of these thoughts and feelings 
Are making it hard 
For me to see clearly 
This is crazy! 
I don't know if I'm ready 
But then again 
Relationships are rarely easy 
These walls are building up 
All around me 
As a warning 
To tread lightly 
This is it! 
Time for a new philosophy 
Gonna go with the flow 
And just be me

Stephen Corman August 24, 2017 at 9:22 AM Amanda, I know you do not know me, but you know me too well. A friend sent this poem to me yesterday. It was as if you had written it for me. It captured feelings that I have been having since a woman 24 years younger than me, and whom I've been dating for months, told me she wanted me in her life, but that should "just be friends.". This poem will help me adjust to that. Thank you SC
