New Friends
From that first smile and hello
Little did I know
A new friend shortly you would be
I think on that we do agree
A chance encounter in a lift
Brought to us an amazing gift
One that can ne’er be bought
No matter how much it’s sought
Our holiday in the sun
You turned into so much fun
Filled with talking and jokes galore
Made our holiday so much more
Now the week is at it’s end
We have many a new friend
We will keep in touch you can be sure
