To focus on a goal you have, And be not swayed by distractions, Nor to chase every fleeting whim, When faced with life’s attractions, Not to say, we’ll never falter, Within the body a war does rage, The spirit versus fleshly desire, A battle each time we turn the page, As your weapon, its but the Word, The Word that spans, time itself, It has the answers, the help you need, But its mostly left on the shelf, Its not read, so it does not speak, The resounding message there within, Waiting to enter the cerebral realm, A message so good, it has no end, It’ll give you comfort, peace of mind, It’ll show you love, beyond compare, Your hopes and dreams, they could change, The LORD ALMIGHTY, HE does care.
