New Day

Fresh emergence will come, your dawn, arise. Beauty to behold, musings to revise. Theological hope, will now descend the words of this poet, are hence left penned. This stanza was taken from my poem “The Morning Sun” August 10, 2020 Rithimus Divisa 4 Poetry Contest Sponsor: Gregory R. Barden

This excerpt is a strong statement on it's own. It's a worthy contender.

That's a beautiful excerpt from the longer poem, Mark. So many thoughts for poems come at night. How wonderful that you can still tap this inspiration in the morning. I wish everyone could find hope through faith. Best wishes in the contest, Carolyn

I have many thoughts at night but by the time I get to my computer they are usually gone. During the day I carry a notepad and write whatever comes to mind. I do a lot of traveling and it helps to pass the time. Thanks Carolyn
