The board of education has confirmed
cursive will no longer be learned,
leaving many young kids unsure

I don't see the point of cursive writing anymore, but I like the flow and the rhyme of this work.

Thanks, Angela. Haha, I'd have to agree. Just to have a whole way of writing just to support the ability to write a signature doesn't seem to make sense.

We were taught the "Palmer Method" of cursive writing by crazed Nuns using....ink pens....real ones...like dip in the ink well ink pens. we had to turn in a near perfect paper to pass and return to our scribbling ways

Wow, that sounds nerve wracking! I probably would have had my wrists whacked, the way I write.

hi Ink - thanks! I've only heard rumors that this is the new policy. I use cursive so I can write fast, but then I can't read what I wrote.
