New Creature

“If any man

Be in Christ

He is a new

Creature

Old things

Are passed

Away

All things

Are made new.”

Yes you are

Still you

But you

Have changed

Don’t make

This sound

Deranged

Your life

Is simply

Rearranged

You’ll not

Want to lie

Or maybe yet

You may lie less

You’ll not want

To dress the way

You used to dress

Or maybe yet

You’ll dress like

That less.

You’ll want

To give God

Your best

Or maybe yet

You’ll want

To give

The world less.

Being a new

Creature

Is day to day

In every way

A worthy change

In that you’ll

Look to God

A masterpiece

And to the

World strange.

11-6-10

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new."2 Corinthians 5:17
