The picture is very apt as one of the reasons I left is because I was having terrible issues with my throat and voice

My work at school ended yesterday
And my heart is still so heavy and sad
Out of necessity I went on my way 
So it is a positive step, it’s not bad
My health has suffered quite recently
And my joie de vivre was all but gone
But I inspired students to write poetry
My own creativity will now spur me on
I plan to write a humourous book
Filled with funny poem’s that I’ve written
When it’s published I hope that you’ll have a look
I’ve got the writing bug  - I really am smitten!

It is sad that you had to leave the school, but you left behind something great that will linger on with those students... Well done, Jan and congrats on a win!

It will take a long time for the book to be published Mike I have an idea which will need a LOT of poems but i am working on it:-) I never ever dreamed my husband's cancer would have me wanting to publish a book - how life has its twists and turns!:-) hugs Jan xx

Thanks LuLoo - I don't officially finish work until 6th... but as it is the Easter holidays for another week it won't hit me until 11th April when I don't have to get out of bed lol. I am busy writing funnies for my book - i have a dream to publish and I will achieve it ... just to say I DID IT:-) hugs Jan xx

we must call you the pam ayres of soup! lol i always said you were...hope you feel better soon, i've got throat probs at the moment, but only due to a nasty virus, awake all night with it last night

So much going round Charlotte - have had issues with my throat for months :-( the specialist says its stress related:-( :-( but apart from that and a dodgy back am ok lol:-) hugs Jan xx
