New Beginnings

The precious golden orb will soon arise
And dawn prepares to slowly slip away.
A blush of pink expands across the skies;
The sun cuts through at last - a brand new day.

G'day Wendy … there's nothing that feels better than sunrise. The colour of the sky, crispness in the air, and bird song - thank you Wendy

Thank YOU, Lindsay for the lovely comment and colourful start to my day! What a beautiful bird. I must research the name! Ah, I've just been looking. Is it a rainbow/gouldian finch?
