Never Would Have Imagined

Never thought there was one so right
Till I met the perfect stranger
Never thought I’d be wrapped
Till I got wrapped around your finger
Never thought I’d find someone who walks the walk
Before that one learned to talk the talk
Never thought you’d be slow to take
Before being quick to give
Never thought it possible to love another
Till I loved you in spite of my weakness
Never thought I’d ever feel so incomplete
Until the day you left me
Never thought I’d ever quit being down
Till you helped bring me out
Never thought I’d see all of it in one
Till I saw one of it in all
Never thought I’d meet someone who wants to love me for me
That is, until I met you, Lucky
