Never There

Where was the love you never gave, could I ever talk to you, you were no where to be found. Where were you, never there. Did you even see the tears I cried, did you ever tell me that things are going to be alright, you were no where to be found, where were you? Even though we were in the same house, it is like you did not live there, like a ghost, just passing by, you did not protect me and I want to know why? You have no answer, I am not surprised! Where was the love you were supposed to give, I must remember that you weren't even there, no where around, no where to be found. I thought you was my father, but you were never there.
