Never Tell
There are things I’ll never tell, like the wishes I wish
While tossing a coin in a wishing well
So many times I have considered telling
Every one of the secrets I have lurking with in
But I‘ve given up knowing that I can’t win
Just knowing that heart has been
Waiting for someone who would be a friend
But I know that can only happen
If someone put a spell on them
And inside I try to fight a battle in my mind
From of all these thoughts of friends that have left me behind
Always promising that we would be together for all time
Now that time has passed I realize at last
Not everything is meant to last
