Never Rejected

When you feel your heart’s hurting
When you feel your bone’s bending
When you feel your soul’s straying
You need to start pleading, praying

When you see the sun sleeping
When you see the stars staring
When you see the flowers fading
Don’t keep your spirit strolling

When you see the sky clouded
When you see the ground flooded
When you see the trees surrounded
Don’t keep your hands suspended

When you see the world wounded
When you see the mighty melted
When you see the wicked wasted
You won’t see the righteous rejected

Simple, yet deeply meaningful. Thanks for your comments on "We met in a spring"

Hi! I like this piece, very powerful words. The last words on their own read together make a big statement. Joanne
