Never Put Your Trust In Them

A wizard can't turn silver
into shimmering gold,
and amaze us with his magic;
a fortuneteller reveals
what's sad and tragic:
as days slowly unfold.

Never put your trust in them
to find Heaven and Hell,
even delusion won't offer a chance;
hear the sound of the loud bell!

Be held by arms
stronger than a castle's walls,
it's the escape of passionate lovers;
when all crumbles around us,
didn't the gipsy see any hope
in their horoscope?
Didn't worry arise the alarm?

Everybody goes
through times of desperation,
they need deep meditation
to face another harsh conflict:
shouldn't all put up the fight?

Never put your trust in them
to find Heaven and Hell,
even delusion won't offer a chance;
hear the sound of the loud bell!
