You were never meant to see me through the shadows,
you were never meant to see my internal battles,
you were never meant to feel my pain,
i was never meant to put you through hell all over again,
you were never meant to see me cry,
you were never meant to ask me why,
you were never meant to be there,
you were never meant to care,
you were never meant to meet me,
you were never meant to see,
you were never meant to love me,
you were never meant to know we could be...
