Never Love Again

You whisper to me
sweet nothings
and that is exactly what they are.
Everything you say means nothing to you,
but everything to me.
So happy was our time together,
but you no longer wanted
anything to do with me.
To you I was nothing
I will no longer stand for it.
No longer will I have anything to do with you.
I may call
just to hear your voice,
but always know
I will never love you.
