Never Let Them See

A simple girl
Bright blue eyes and
Cherry lips
Disguised by
Every worthy
Face that fits
Guarding
Her humble heart
Incase others
Just can’t see. By
Keeping them
Little. They won’t belittle
Me
Never letting
Persnickety people
Question how
Radiant I can
Shine, keeps me shining
Time after time

We have to believe in ourselves before we can expect anyone else to believe in us. Beautifully penned.3cw
