Never Let the Pleasure Go
C-old chilling storm
H-as finally gone away;
A-nother morn has broken,
R-ising sun meets the day.
M-isty Wednesday is over,
A-s well as the rugged wind;
I-t's a beautiful Thursday,
N-ight shadows
E-nd.
B-leak horizon and dark sky
A-re now becoming clear;
R-ays from up above
R-eflect there and here.
E-arly light has come out,
R-eady to warm your heart;
A-fter the twilight is gone, haze and dusk depart.
L-et the beacon burn
U-nderneath the blue lane;
M-aking the clouds white,
O-bliterating the rain.
G-reat dawn twelfth January
D-enies the evening sorrow;
A-llow not the rapture to fade,
N-ever let the pleasure
G-o.
