Never Harm the Children
We must never harm the children
For that ruins our tomorrows
It fills the world with misery
And compounds all our sorrows
We must never harm the children
For they harbor all our dreams
They represent the future
That we pray will be secure
We must never harm the children
It should be quite apparent
To build the world we hope for
We must be a better parent
If the world does cause you grief
And you truly need relief
Go buy yourself a boulder
And beat that into sand
But never harm the children
For should you choose to do so
The truth from which you can’t hide
Come judgment the gates won’t open wide
We must never harm the children
They are more precious than jewels and gold
And if you hold them closely
They can warm you in the cold
We must never harm the children
To know that you have won
Just look upon the smiles,
Of your grandchildren having fun.
We must never harm the Children
