Never Good Enough

She is twelve years old
  No one to care
  No one to hear
  The screams of her heart
But we turn our noses up

  She is six feet under
  A knife in her back
Praying for the pain and suffering to end
But we turn our noses up

  She tries her best
  They break her heart
Can’t sleep at night with the monsters creeping in her room
But we turn our noses up

  She begs and plead
She gets down on her knees
  Trying to hold on
  They see her pain
But we turn our noses up

  Two years later
Lessons learned, and new scars made
She changes who she really is
But we turn our noses up

This is so true of some. People just WON'T see what's right in front of their eyes. Others, like myself, do. Well done!

How much better it seems now than when it is finally done– the unforgettable first line, the cunning way the stanzas run. The rhymes soft-spoken and suggestive are barely audible at first, an appetite not yet acknowledged like the inkling of a thirst. While gradually the form appears as each line is coaxed aloud– the architecture of a room seen from the middle of a crowd. ... Excerpt from Dana Gioia's "The Next Poem". Yes, write again. Then, soon enough, your poems will write you.

I wrote this for an assignment, but as i was writing it the power of how much pain and suffering i really had got to shine through, and i just wanted to share this with people around the world. Thanks for reading and understanding the story of my life, because it goes deeper the the surface. Just let me know what you think and if i should create more
