Never Gone, Dearest One
Dazzling smile, Sparkling eyes,
Loved you at first sight.
Life began, Bright sunshine,
Lover’s hearts, Intertwined.
Vows we made, ‘Til death part.
Never knew, Hurt begot.
‘Til one day, Words of pain,
Shock and fear sadly came.
Malady, N’er cheat me
Of your love, Evermore.
In my heart, there you are.
Never gone, dearest one.
