Never Give Up

Never give up

As a child I had dreams
Live life without care
No worries or woes
But I’ve never got there
Problems they come
Rain down so it seems
I do not give up
I still search for my dreams

I sometimes see light
As the long tunnels end
I reach out in hope
And the rain starts again
Problems are tough
They wear me down
But I still search for the life
That my childhood dreams found

When the heavy rain falls
Those mornings I dread
Sometimes it’s hard
Just to crawl from my bed
I’m pushed down to the floor
With so much despair
But I never give up
My dreams are still there
