Never Enough

No matter what I do, it’s never enough,
people always seem to want more.
They don’t care if they’ve taken all you’ve got,
they only want to strip you to the core.

No matter what I do, it’s never enough,
people always want more than their share.
They don’t concern themselves with how you may feel
or care that they’re being unfair.

No matter what I do, it’s never enough,
people always want to act like a fool.
They often complain about how wrongly they’re treated,
yet don’t recognize they’re the ones being cruel.

Our world is full of ignorant people
who think they have it so tough.
And no matter what you say or do on their behalf,
it’s just never ever enough.

I know these feelings well. I sometimes think I have MUG stamped on my forehead!
