Never Did

Thought I would see you
 But never did
Longed to be with you
You weren’t near
I waited for you
But you didn’t show
I needed you
You weren’t around
I called you
But no response
Looked around to see
You weren’t there
Said I would see you
But I never did
Assured me you would be close
You were no where
I ask my self
Where are you
But no reply
All silence
