Never a Moment

Never a Moment

Circumstances cast our fate,
perphaps wrongly or maybe right.
Though she is miles and dreams away
I reach out to her every night.

Shoul she hear poems in the wind
I pray she treat my verses kind
because there is never a moment
when she is far from my mind.

I have often felt that animals are laughing at us; but I have never thought of a bird asleep. Thought-provoking, Carlos.

Whimsical, and to the point. Delightful to read.

You have captured feelings only few can imagine. Great job, Niamh.
