Never had I imagined that love would be like this, Never had I dreamed that I would fall with just one kiss, With one touch of your hand the walls around my heart, All came crashing down and slowly fell apart, Then with just one word my whole world tumbled down, My dreams were shattered, my hopes were drowned, In my tears of sadness, in my fears of rejection, In my self doubt, in all my imperfections, We tried it apart, we tried it alone, But with all of this time I belive we have grown, To appreciate this love that we share, To know that's it's special and won't always be there, To just be happy in the moment, To see it through the bad times, And make it through the tears, To be there for each other, to face each others fears, To work together as one and not as two, To know this love that we share is true.
