Nervous- Young Mans Perspective

Im working up the nerve to call her
Will she think its alright?
Well should I even bother?
Maybe another day or time?
Or should I go on to her place,
So we can talk face to face?
Or should I just move at a slower pace

Im working up the nerve to speak to her
Will she think its alright?
Should I walk on over
and use one of my lines?
Or should I walk taller
so she will think that Im fine?
And then, one day she will be mine
Yeah someday the stars will align

And Im gonna tell her, what Im feeling
Shes gonna look so, much as my way

Should I make a move to kiss her?
Will she think its alright?
Should I move a little closer
so I can hold her tight?
Should I tell her that I love her
and pull her to the side?
If that works, I wont believe my eyes.

You can call me a looser
You can call me what you like
She'll see that I'm different
someday she'll realize
While I'm standing at a distance
I'm waiting for a sign

And right now is that day and time
And right now all the stars align
And right now I'm gonna make her mine

And I'm gonna tell her, what I'm feeling
She's gonna look so, much as my way

This is an amazing piece Manolo and the fact that you say you haven't been writing your whole life and was able to put this piece together is a job well done. I enjoyed reading it. Keep writing. Regards "B"

I havent been writing my whole life, so I've been thinking back on past feelings and emotions to write about them.
