Neptune is Jealous

Neptune was a bit jealous of the new sea king MerMim. Young mermaids were steaming up the rocks to see him He was virile and handsome, appealing in every way. Learning about him made Neptune jealous that day. You are the most handsome god in the sea, said his wife. He did not appreciate it, for he had forgotten his life. He used to be the one the young mermaids lined up to see. Now they called him “the old man who lives in the sea”
