Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU Are things at times we may be laughing But never, ever will one be under-staffing With fewer nurses who were often needed Assist along a birth that could be impeded. Then there was the time a son we did adore By my beautiful wife baby she recently bore And are glad our son's life God would spare With Neonatal Intensive Unit who could care. For a while we had experienced much strife And a wonderful nurse saved our son's life Now do see him each time the sun does set Concerned face of nurse will never forget. I know a couple of woman that are NICU nurses. They are absolutely incredible people. A very tough job sometimes and other times nothing could be more rewarding.

MW, First time that I have heard from you. Thanks for your comments. Doctors said in Orlando that they are there 30 minutes a day. Nurses are there 24 hours a day and don't forget it. Jim Horn
