Nehemiah

by BambiLynn'14
Daddy, Daddy! I didn't mean to go!
I ran away from it happening! Didn't make it tho...
My mother, friends, family~didn't know, I was too young.
That trouble would find me in guise of a gun...
I can see you, I can hear all you never got to say.
My body gave out, but in your heart I will stay.e
In times when you need me,
I am here and you'll see~
that with God and my passing~
I SCREAM WITH ALL EVERLASTING!
NO MORE GUNS! NO MORE SILENCE!
   0 TOLERANCE 0 VIOLENCE
                             NEHEMIAH
(inspired by the shooting and death of a NORTHSIDE MINNEAPOLIS teenager)
