Needless Worry

The fountain never overflows Though we see it filling endlessly, Because we don’t see where the water goes Flowing through the drain orderly, There’s no reason to worry needlessly.

Thanks for the reminder. A plumber is coming today. Water is coming up through the kitchen floor which is concrete since we live in an earth-sheltered home - all the water pipes are under the concrete. Ugh!

Oh my. I'm wondering if some froze and burst during the recent cold spell. I certainly hope the problem can be solved quickly and cheaply. But, all plumbing work seems to be so expensive these days. Think of your plight.

It's a human weakness, worrying, even when there's nothing to worry about we still do. Tom

Seems to come natural, too. My mother was such a worrier I always said it gave her cancer. I do believe a person can die from worrying.

Mike, thanks so much. Yes, it is hard for some to trust, but it's something worth working on. I hope you have a really productive week. Cheers!

Excellent metaphor, "Don't go chasing waterfalls!"

Or rainbows. Or windmills. Hmmm...chase women! Maybe not at my age! Thanks for the read, Robert, and your thoughtful comment.
