Needed Some Time Alone

I needed some time alone,
So I decided to go to the beach.
The tides weren't very strong,
But they would still cover my feet,
As they slowly moved in.

I looked up to see dark clouds,
Forming above me, yet the sun,
Would peak out from underneath.
You could see the sun rays, sending down heat to keep me warm. Vibrant colors reflecting in the water. Yellow, blue, green, red colors you could see. The sun made the water have sparkles on the tip of the tides.

I stood in awe, couldn't believe how just walking along the beach soothed my soul.

I decided to sit on a log that had come in with the waves. You could tell it had been there for quite some time. Emotionally, mentally, and physically I had been stressed out for quite some time. Now I felt like it had been replaced and ready to move on.

Decided to stay a little longer to watch the dolphins jump out of the water and dive back in with a big splash. Many seashells, with different shapes and colors laying in the wet sand.
I loved to see the starfish and had been collecting them for quite sometime.

This is my favorite spot to go when I just need to get away. It's something how just spending time by water can make a big difference.
