Needed
Here I am once again,
As everything looks to be going to plan,
The house of bricks built with my two hands,
Falls to the earth as I built upon sand.
Where have you been,
While I was calling your name?,
An’ where did you hide to shelter yourself from the pain?,
Now I have found my way to escape,
Your staying behind and left in my wake.
This is the day and this is the night,
This is the time for me to make things right,
This is MY time and this is MY chance,
This is the change NEEDED for romance.
Here I will end but remember this,
Remember me_ Remember how I am and not as I seem,
There is a whole other world behind the present persona,
And it’s the same for these words,
You just cast your eyes over.
