Need To Know

Need to Know

I Don't Need to Be Free and Happy,
But I'd like to Feel That Way.
Then it Wouldn't Be So Hard,
Just Getting Through Each Day.

I Know There's More to Living,
Than the Life I'm Living Now,
Because I Remember Better Times,
But I Lost it All Somehow.

I Can't Recapture Anything past
And the Present Isn't Right.
The Future Looms Before Me,
But for What Reason Do I Fight?

I Don't Have the Answer.
Maybe There Isn't One,
But I Hope I Find It.. 
Before My Life Is Done.
