Need Something More

I was never the best at expressing my feelings but I'm trying to work on it I've had highs and lows from love, I can only write a verse on it I've seen the beauty of love and also been left broken hearted Trying to create a beautiful picture despite being a damaged artist We live in a time where people are rarely honest with their feelings Jumping from relationship to relationship, so you'll never finish healing You need to give your heart time to recover and reset In my future relationships I'm only accepting something more and no longer something less I've always had fun chatting up girls and being flirty But from now on I need something more as next year I turn thirty I want to work on a relationship and not put it down like a quick hobby I'm at the age where I need something more than great sex and a nice body It's no longer about how attractive you are, I can't be with a girl who can only offer sex When things go wrong or we have issues, that's something we need to talk about and address Nudes are great, but there are other ways to see each other naked Lets discuss our fears and dreams, then pick up a pen and start creating our pages I no longer have time for petty games If we're in love we're not supposed to leave each other with a heavy pain Our journey should be us trying our best to remain on a steady lane If we're forced to walk through the storm together, we protect each other from the deadly rain I'm a grown man, I'm not interested in petty arguments or Kardashian type drama When the world attacks us, we should be each others armour This isn't a shot at my exes or any relationship I've been in before But when it comes to my future relationships, I need something more
