Need a prayer in 2025?

(A lone voice whispers)

Oh, Lord.
Remind me to
Smile

Because by
Your grace

In the face of
Covid and all other things

Which everyone seems to forget and all they embrace

I'm still alive
A privilege denied

To so many, who have
Suddenly died

Remind me
Oh, Lord
My Almighty

I've still got so much more to give
As I live

And with your bright and beautiful stars
Lighting my way

Guiding and showing me the beauty
Of doing my soul's pure duty

To try to light a candle of hope
In just someone

As they pray to repent
To help them ascend

To help them wipe their spirits dry tears away
Maybe today

And to make your love grow stronger
Everyday

To undo old wrongs

It's why I kneel to pray
And whisper

Amen

No matter how hard life gets, intense
