Need a Friend?
How do things go unnoticed?
While lies are being told
Saying one thing but really mean another
Leaving bread crumbs behind that turn into a heartache
Memories that seem to linger
Behind every human lies a heartache that needs tending
Only wanting to be addressed by a person who is willing
No matter what; can’t let go of the past
It haunts like a ghost that needs to be let free
Not sure where to go or who to trust
Seeking answers but all you get is more questions
Wanting a shoulder to cry on but nobody really cares
They have their own problems
They have their own mistakes and regrets
They want answers to
We think that we are the only ones with problems
But were just blind and selfish
We don’t see the people around that look happy but are crying inside
We don’t realize that we aren’t the only ones who need a friend
