I walk neath a deep blue summer sky
With the mighty wings of joy, I soar so high
I walk amid cherry blossom trees, and all is calm
In the young dawn, nature hums it's celestial psalm
It's a sunny, breathtaking vista of a day
And I pray it doesn't turn from blue to gray
There's a palpable feeling of mirth in the air
Days like this, so few and far between, so rare
A diamond in the rough; an aged fine wine
Neath this beautiful, bright day; all is just fine
Tulips and white calla lilies in the garden happily blow
Their trumpets in sunshine. And time does flow
Like a peaceful river. Swallows sweetly tweet
Marshmallow clouds above me, a visual treat!
I walk neath a deep blue summer sky
With the sturdy wings of joy, I soar so high
