Nearer To Heaven

I was nearer to Heaven then
As I trespassed cloud and sky--
And I will travel there again,
When next I chance to fly.
How grand the heady heights achieved,
To Heaven, near or far--
Of greatness I no more deceived,
For how very small we are!

Hi Casarah. The other day I listened to the song about angels--the one you recommended. What a difference a year makes--not even. But, I fell for a beautiful lady living in Pennsylvania, and for me (the crazy, fool romantic), that was enough, and I boarded a plane. It could have been a reality TV show.
