Near But Far
Saw you very close
But could not get near
Tears welled up in my eyes
I see you close
But yet so far away
Can’t touch you again
Feel very hopeless
Want to hold your hand
But things have changed
We are far apart now
I bow my head in silence
Should not have been like this
Nothing I can do now
Life seems meaningless
A gap between us
Feel my life is wretched
Want to hold on again
But I can’t
Nothing has meaning
All is empty now
Comes apart easily
The wind blows by
Feels so near
But yet can not be held
Sunlight is easily seen
But can not be closed in on
I see you
But yet so far away
