Sad but, I think most people are taking them seriously but if the bigger entities, like corporations and conglomerates and government don't then how does the public pull together to defeat their denial?

Yes, emergencies do bring the best in people BUT THEY BRING ALSO DEATH AND DESTRUCTION and I do not know what good is it to the people who lose their lives and the lives of their children and lose their properties dearest, CayCay. We have to be more serious about the consequences of our actions and not to take it so lightly! Would you rather see someone lose his life and the life of his family just to see the " the best in people that this brings" dearest CayCay? I do not think so! Thank you!

First, we should change attitude ourselves by developing a more friendly approach to nature! If not we will pay the price! Thank you for your kind words my dearest friend, Vijay! Thank you for caring!

Nature works with nature, man does his own thing and the rest of us have to suffer the consequences. Cutting down vast forests that help to absorb water and not replanting brings floods and hardship to others. Mankind will wake up when its too late. Tom.

The interstate sixty miles north of me is underwater right now; flooding is also serious here in the US, my friend. We all need to pray!

In Greece too we had our share! What we need more than prayers my dearest friend, Caren is to become sensible and work within nature's laws and respect the environment more than our technology otherwise we are going to be an endangered species!
