Nature's Uneasy Patrons
Beauty unseen at the waterfall's edge
The danger below at waterfall's edge
The edge of the waterfall's descent
The cutting jagged rocks all she'll ever know
My darling climbs
Beautiful rhythm at the ocean's edge
The danger within at the ocean's edge
The edge of the ocean's expanse
The undertow's liquid flow all he'll ever know
My darling swims
Beautiful greenery at the forest's edge
The danger lurks shadowed at forest's edge
The edge of the forest's canopy
The stinging pain of venom all they'll ever know
My darlings hike
My darlings wander these rivers and these shores
These forests, these mountains, just doing their chores
Warning the stranger of what lie ahead
And welcoming them all to the land of the dead
My darlings roam
