Nature's Truth

The sunny day, the daisies smiled
I captured a dream in the wind
Across pastures of many miles
Thoughts of things I could rescind

Butterflies visited this special place
Fluttering designs in the fresh air
Under clouds forming expression of a face
Life was so vibrant everywhere!

Space for imagination to run wild
Freedom in the steps of a dance
Where stones in the wall were piled
New beginnings brought a second chance

To find the focus in all of my dreams
Sleeping inside, ready to wake
Colors were brighter it seemed
With nature’s truth, nothing was fake

Golden glow imagery expressed in this beautiful poem, Heidi. Loved the line ... I captured a dream in the wind. Your pen always paint a brilliant portrait of nature and emotions entwined. You are a most talented poetess. And this is a very evocative write. Pure poetry, my dear friend. Love and smiles always.
