Nature's Tale

The breathtaking beauty only brought a desire for more
To see the waters flow was like taking a blissful tour
Looking upward to watch the mountains kiss the sky
This majesty caused the awe of an overwhelming sigh

Journeying by the river's edge to see where it would go
While the fish running upstream, put on a magical show
The cresting over each stone as if to make them clean
With rushing waters so quick as to hear the river sing

A roaring up ahead so loud, wondering what we hear
The sound much stronger and louder as we drew near
And there it was, falling from way up high to us below
This glorious sight, while on our faces a radiant glow

It was as if the river was falling from the bright blue sky
This majesty caused the awe of an overwhelming sigh
Oh the wonder and the emotion of which nature brings
Seeing within our souls while our joyful heart sings
