Nature's Renewal
The arctic chill to Northern climes must retreat,
For Marches' blustery winds do now entreat.
The Sun's residual rays now emanate more heat,
Allowing Earth's thawing crust with life to bleat.
Burrowing creatures work to recycle Winter's refuse;
Marching ants scour surface for nature's produce.
Winged armada escapes webbed prison flower's nectar to induce,
While jittery squirrels Winter's final store must reduce.
Birds regal with Spring's new anthem;
Bees pollinate: clover, lily, chrysanthemum.
Trees bud with Nature's new ransom;
Rains increase, making earth's bounty blossom.
