Nature's Love

Come with me as we walk this land and
admire the beauty that surrounds us.
Drink in the wonders of blossoms that
delight our senses with their fragrance.

Wonder as you watch a bee busily collecting
nectar and appreciate the bounty of honey.
Turn over a rotting log to find a myriad
of scurrying bugs and wriggling larvae.

Enjoy the vista of mountain lakes perched
in between the peaks of towering mountains.
Listen, really listen to the breeze as it
whispers its secrets to all who can hear.

Now ask yourself what more does one need?
No amount of money can buy the peace of nature.
There is something to be said about having
didley squat. Rely instead on your health.

For if you have nothing, you have nothing to lose
The page in front of you is completely blank
What you write there will affect your life
So pause a minute, ........... and reflect.

There is a lot of truth in your wonderful poem. Indeed, nature and all that it offers is free and for those who take the time to enjoy it, then they will know that is it the little things in life that matter the most. Things are just things, yard sale fodder for later in life, but nature is endless and will always be something you can enjoy.
