Nature's Joke

NATURE’S JOKE

what’s going on here
mid march and eighty degrees?
laughter in the breeze

sun in Michigan
houses with windows open?’
laugh now cry later

golfers out early
courses are brown but busy
look north funnel cloud

beer sales up gas too
you’d never know it’s hard times
dig a deeper hole

Good morning Daver, here in Texas, nature has been a joke.. Some like this cold season we are still having...I don't! Our cold days are only always found at the ends of December through the beginning of January. It is March, we are waking up to an every other day cold day. What is going on???? It's suppose to be in the high 90's by now... You've heard about out Texas hot crazy season.. Maybe nature want the joke to be on us this year.. great poem,,, have a nice one..pd

Hard times are more bearable with a beer in hand, I suppose? If one doesn't drink, they can water the greens with it.:) Nature must be one of the biggest jokesters, she can certainly be fickle and capricious. This one's a thinker, Daver! Best wishes, love, Mikki
