Nature's Display
The sun is shining oh so bright
Here I sit in warm delight
Watching the birds singing in the trees
Thinking how wonderful life can be
Drinking my morning coffee and starting my day
Enjoying the beauty of Nature's Display
Sounds of people working in their yards
But the songs of the birds make it easy to disregard
I see a Robin eating his breakfast from the ground
Pondering all the beauty that is all around
A butterfly floats past in delicate flight
Thank you God for this gift of sight
Here I sit starting a brand new day
Enjoying the beauty of Nature's Display
