NATURE’S CHEERLEADERS

P~erennial pops, flower balls 
O~f delectable colors.
M~ums amazing appeal

red chrysanthemums
like a rubefacient kiss
passion enfolds thee

misty lemon mum
is watered with my sorrow
clings to yesterday

white wears faithfulness
and beautiful as a bride
snow clings to husband

P~etals, appear as pompoms
O~f nature’s cheerleaders.
M~omentous hallelujah for God.

Nice little senryu tucked in the middle there also. I learned what rubefacient means too.
