Painting by Marko Mavrovich
NATURE’S BOUNTY Blend of green and gold Like a star-filled night It’s God’s hand we hold In awe of nature's nativity The trees they sway In a field of poppies They dance all day Amidst rustic hues The lush turquoise-mint grass Like the splendiferous sea Wafting hymns of early mass Blow through rich maple trees A church chapel built by mankind Years and years of forging beauty Could not saturate the spirit’s mind True to this paradisiacal bounty 3/16/2017
