Nature Sings

N ature sings, and A pril sweetly breathes life to T ender buds on trees. . . and from I nside the fertile womb O f earth, N ew seedlings' heads emerge, A wakened by their mother's song, nourished by the sun of L uminous blue skies and by the season's showers. P oets too join in, composing O des as overtures to Spring. E latedly. . . . enchantingly, T hey conjure imagery by R aining words resounding with the essence of refulgence Y earned for in Winter's icy depths. M elancholy flees before the scent of O leander blooms and lilac sprigs. N othing quite inspires like this wonderful yet T ransitory time that poets' H earts and souls respond to, echoing Mother Earth in rhyme! Amazing write on this one Andrea. Way to go. I forgot there is a cream for arthritis that you can get to put on the area or there are also pills that you can take. These are not over the counter but prescriptions.

Happy Poetry Month back atcha! You are so creative with this acrostic of spring. I prefer the lilac sprigs the most...I was also relieved to see that you did not choose melancholy FLEAS (which my lil doggie has had all winter)! lol. Seriously, as poets, we are enthralled by the changes in weather, landscape, seasons, and anything that stirs up emotion. We are poetic observer's of God's great creation.

I fed the birds and squirrels in my backyard this morning- my backyard is an animal refuge, so those first buds on the forest of trees were truly enchanting. I enjoyed this poem MUCHISSIMO!!! Love, daver

What a delightful acrostic to celebrate National Poetry Month. I love all the sounds and sites you describe, but especially the poets joiining in odes as overtures to spring. Very nice, Andrea! Love, Carolyn
